Prof. Dr. Şükrü Ersoy’s research interests include geological engineering, general geology, tectonics (palaeotectonic, neotectonic, seismotectonic), geology, basic sciences. He also conducts research in a wide range of areas such as natural sciences, geology, disasters, coastal geology, geomitology, geotourism and social sensitivity. He also writes regularly in newspapers and magazines within the scope of popular science articles.

In addition to his publications in national and international academic journals, Prof. Dr. Şükrü Ersoy enlightens the society about earthquakes in popular science pages and focuses on the training of Değerse experts on earthquakes and disaster awareness. He actively contributes to our Değerse Platform with various webinars, speeches and informative articles in his field.

Şükrü Ersoy was born in Kırıkhan district in 1958. He graduated from the Department of Geological Engineering at Istanbul University in 1980. Taking a big step in his academic career, Ersoy completed his doctorate in geology in 1989. Adding a new one to his academic achievements, he received the title of associate professor in 1993 and finally became a professor in 2001.

Currently working at Yıldız Technical University, Ersoy is the President of the Natural Sciences Research Centre. Şükrü Ersoy, who is known for his many years of academic accumulation and scientific studies, has many international and national publications.

Prof. Dr. Harun Baytekin is a farmer and amateur beekeeper. He is involved in EU projects in the fields of Crop and Animal Production Systems, Rural Development, Organic Agriculture, Medicinal Plants, Beekeeping, Green Energy.

Prof. Dr. Harun Baytekin’s contributions to Değerse are multifaceted. He contributes to the determination of agricultural products suitable for the regions where Değerse will invest, soil analysis, agricultural practices and techniques, and the continuation of cultivation with scientific methods. While developing our cultivation and agricultural practices in this cooperation, we rely on approaches that are compatible with the natural life of the region and support ecological life and balance. In this way, we are getting closer to our goal of conducting our agricultural activities in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner.

Cooperation is also carried out in determining market demands, which is a part of breeding and agricultural production, selling products and increasing the market share of Değerse. It also provides consultancy services to Değerse in contacting local people and regional representatives during the project design phase and in feasibility studies.

Prof. Dr. Harun Baytekin, who completed his undergraduate, graduate and doctorate education in the field of Field Crops at Çukurova University Faculty of Science and Technology, has been working at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Agriculture since 1999. Baytekin has many national and international studies. He also writes a daily column for a local newspaper and tries to find solutions to farmer problems by continuing the Success in Agriculture Academy programs on Köytv and AGROTV.

Prof. Dr. Kemal Çelik is an academic with extensive expertise in agricultural sciences, with a particular focus on zootechnics and animal nutrition. Through his research over the years, he has carried out important studies on the efficiency and sustainability of the livestock sector. He has studies especially on animal nutrition technologies and feed formulation. He also develops innovative solutions in the field of agricultural production, breeding and animal feed production and publishes nationally and internationally in this field.

Our collaboration with Prof. Dr. Kemal Çelik offers comprehensive support in the fields of education and practice, especially in the fields of agricultural toxicology, soil and food-borne toxins, heavy metal pollution, ways of protection from pesticides and heavy metals in human and animal health, natural processing and protection methods of agricultural products, prevention of contamination in agricultural products.

Prof. Dr. Kemal Çelik stands out with his expertise in the fields of healthy nutrition and nutritional toxicology, and at the same time, he provides scientific contributions in obtaining products free of heavy metals and pesticides in crop cultivation processes, while also providing great support in methods to increase productivity. We receive consultancy from him on methods and scientific applications suitable for the soil structure and habitat of the land for growers who function in the field of plant and animal production and for our clients who request information..

Thus, we adopt agricultural practices that are compatible with the natural life of the region and support ecological life. Thanks to this cooperation, we reduce and improve the risks of chemical residues in the products to be obtained through natural and rational spraying and other agricultural practices, while strengthening our business strategies with an academic perspective.

Prof. Dr. Kemal Çelik, who works at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Animal Science, is an expert in the fields of Nutritional Physiology, Nutritional Toxicology, Ration Preparation and Feeds. After 5 years of private sector experience in a similar field, Dr. Çelik, who focuses on academic studies, conducts many national and international studies in the fields of agriculture and public health, traditional and complementary health practices. Dr. Çelik, who has experience as an executive and partner in more than 50 projects, especially within the scope of European Union projects, has coordinated many projects on Agriculture, Health and Environment with Germany, Denmark, Hungary, Israel, Portugal, Greece, Romania, France, England..
